Does anybody have any info on how well the UAD plugins are working in PT9 on a Mac?

A friend of mine had a UAD card on a PC in PTLE 7 about 4 years ago and the plugins were extremely late and hard to deal with, not sure if it was PC related

Their plugin list gets more and more awesome each year so I think I am finally going to get into it if it works decently..
