Line in the same as DB25 line in. Yes.
Look in the manual, page 42-43. Specifications cover both DB25 and TRS as the same thing.
Line "True Bypass" (also available on both DB25 and TRS) gives you 1dB better SNR and 1dB better dynamic range. Good luck with hearing that.
