Me too, this time with an MBox Micro.
At first I thought it was because i was trying to run both M-Powered and LE on the same system; this machine goes into kernel panic virtually every time I shut it down or switch user, if the Micro is plugged in.
Then yesterday I plugged the Micro into a different machine, and went to shut it down - kernel panic.
Both are 2GHz iMac Core 2 Duo's with 3GB RAM running PT8.0.3 and OS 10.6.3, though the same thing happened on 10.6.2.
Strangely enough, I have yet to see a kernel panic from either my MacBook or a MacPro that I've used it with, but with the iMacs it's virtually guaranteed to happen when you shut them down,
