It's true that you cannot install 10.5.1 on that machine if it shipped with 10.5.2. But there is another way if you have another computer around that can run 10.5.1. Use a second computer to install 10.5.1 on a firewire drive then clone that drive to the new Macpro. It will work.

I did it with a MacPro that shipped with 10.4.11 and I needed to downgrade to 10.4.9 according to Digi specs. I did it and have had no problems. Used Carbon Copy Cloner.
