Update to OS X Combo 10.4.11 and download UAD-1 ver.4.10 and install. Repair disk permissions after installing and trash Digi preferences...

Still get the problem? Run a hardware test off your original Mac install disk to rule out any hardware issues, including RAM. Re-set your PRAM...
