No you should be fine with playback of 32 tracks AND with putting limiters and compressors on your 2 track master stereo bus.

The problem might be in RECORDING/Tracking to your internal harddrive more than about 4-6... ur internal is slow as balls and u will get errors out the [bleep].

512mb of ram is enough for what you're doing. To be honest, you will be fine with a good amount of low processor plug-ins.... REVERB is one you have to watch out for, that drains ur comp and also some of those crazy super tap delays and what not. Reason rewire can drain alot out too. And RTAS plug in instruments, etc. etc.

I would look into getting another stick of 512, its cheap and worth it. besides that you should be good.

If you want to track/record 32 tracks, I would get an external... Lacie D2 250gb maybe. 7200... strong STRONG HD.
