I was a little ashamed to admit I still use these same old plugins since they are not the "latest and greatest". I was just watching a YouTube video and the producer was talking about still using the Renaissance Plugs after all these years so it made me wonder...

Anyone still using these on a regular basis as their go to plugins?

They do still seem to be popular faves amoung many. Every week or so I'm coming across some dude who's using it.

It doesn't matter how old it is really, not if you manage to "get it right". Look at other vintage processors. The 2A, the 76, Fairchild, Neve EQ, SSL... much of their design hasn't changed much in years and the classic stuff is still sought after today. That's because they got it right too.

The Renn processors are just a modern day example of "getting it right".

However, I may upset a few here but I'm a tiny bit superficial when it comes to the UI. Wish they'd update it and include an optional "legacy" UI for the older users.

But hey, the important thing is that sound right?!?
