Pro Tools First has been discontinued for a while now, is a few versions behind and also had limited input/output capabilities. If you really want to try out Pro Tools, I would suggest the
30-day trial, which will give you a better idea of what the software can do.
You could also just do a one month subscription to Pro Tools Artist, which would be $10.00 and you can either not renew if it's not for you, or renew the subscription if it works out.
