I would suspect one of your 3rd party synths first.
I'd even exclude rewire clients like Reason for now... and start with 1 Synth in an instrument track or Aux (However you've been working with it) at a time, to see which one crashes.
I've had similar stability issues with Sampletank2 and "The Grand" using VSTtoRTAS wrapper.
