I would not be overly concerned about dust on quarter inch connectors as the act pf patching and un-patching the plugs will tend to clean the contacts. I would be more concerned about slot connections like PCMCIA cards and such that have many small pins(like the memory car slots in some keyboards and effect units). Someone should invent(or did I just do that) a cheap rubber device that fits into those slots to seal them. +1 for the CAIG products.
