Also is this just one session? Multiple sessions? If just one then open a new session and import the problematic session data and it should fix the corrupt session data in the old session...
Easy to do... Create New Session... Open the folder the session having issues in in... drag that session into the mix window.. the import data window opens... import EVERYTHING... and place all the tracks on new tracks... Click OK..
Now test the mutes and solos are functioning properly.
