As I said in a previous post:
Hello, I had this problem with a friends laptop today, if you're still having problems I have found the solution (I hope it worked for us). If you just go into the
properties of ProTools > Compatibility tab > tick the box for "Run this program as an administrator", your error should disappear. Hope this helps
