wow I have to repent......
I just checked again with the PCIe card...and enabled it in my sound preferences for mac..... and YES it DOES WORK>.......
I don't remember doing this before with the PCIe card (I haven't had it that long), great news....
Obviously i am still on 10.8.5........and it appears that there are issues with newer OS's......
Funny thing is....Apple is already working on a new version of the OSX...
