I just recorded a live vocal and Midi Piano (instrument track). During this initial recording process, I had the Buffer set and 128 and I did not have any latency issues during the record process.

Now, I'm wanting to convert the Midi-instrument track data to Audio.

I Bussed the Midi-Instrument track to a Stereo Audio Track.

When converting/recording the MIDIPiano-to-Audio, there is a very noticeable audio delay between the vocal track and the audio from the Stereo Audio track.


Though, once the Midi has been recorded to audio, and I playback the song, both the vocal and new piano audio track are back in sync.

Question: Why would there be a 'delay' during this conversion-part of the recording process; but, I didn't have any delay during the original recording process ??
