Thanks for the responses guys. I only put PT9 on the machine on Friday. Clean W7 install with nothing else on the machine. I put the new 003 drivers on as per the instructions. I've got the updated factory plug ins ....... only one instance of those looked a bit iffy as it installed ... Hybrid 1.5.4 update. I'll trash the prefs as you suggest and take that plug off. Funny thing I recall is that I tried to install Melodyne essential and it installed and was seen by PT, but when you open it in a track it doesn't see the waveform or the bar grids ... its blank. Since then the WNBs. I might just start again, anyway I'll post the outcome in case it helps someone else. (I've got a ticket out with Melodyne so something may come of that)
