Also, I have seen a big stink between the 2 "flavors" . . . AHCI and NVMe. I understand you cannot boot from the NVMe, however you can still use for storage. At one point, there was not an NVMe working driver for Mac OS Sierra. Is there one now?

Are all larger SSD blades (above 256/512GB) NVMe? I am having trouble finding larger-size M.2 blades that are AHCI. Is there a significant reason why I should purchase one "flavor" over the other?

Is there one M.2 SSD blade that super-stands out to anyone as being the fastest and/or absolute best?
