Was there ever a confirmed serial number cut off point for when the 'bad chip' hardware stopped? Especially buying used S1s this info would be helpful.

Same for the ghost encoder issue (is that a bad chip / dirty encoder too or can be fixed in FW/update to make them less sensitive)

I'm interested in S1 but need to know this info (currently have a 24 fader D-Command which has been rock solid for years)

Looking at used ones I see some marked as REV A and the latest I could find says REV I? so there were many revisions between 2019 and now in the hardware??? If so can I assume REV A's are the very first batch and should be avoided as having unfixable (by end user) hardware faults?
