It would be nice if Avid could confirm that this is a known issue they are working on or if this is something I could fix by changing something on my PC.

also the read me before posting section asks:

'Have you done everything in the Setup and General Troubleshooting thread?', so we'll want to know that you've done ALL of it and, if you've not done everything, we need to know what you have or have not done, as this can have a huge impact on further troubleshooting.

I looked for this Setup and General Troubleshooting thread but couldnt find it - it doesnt come up in the forum serach engine and there is no link to it on the FAQ page.

If this 'Setup and General Troubleshooting thread' is so important there should be a link to it.

Id like to check that I've done everything recommended there and see if that fixes the problem.

Can someone paste the correct link to this 'Setup and General Troubleshooting thread'?
