Indeed, most of the crop of newer controllers aren't going to work. Command 8 is actually quite a good little surface. If you don't need 8 faders, the original Presonus Faderport is quite decent(still using mine on PT2021.12
). Other option that MIGHT work(if you can get the proper drivers) would be the old Mackie controllers, but anything that has a HUI mode may also work(again, subject to a compatible driver). All things considered, I would still go for the Command 8 if you need all its function, or the old Faderport for its small size(with good functionality).
