In fact it's not correct to say there are no dot updates to v14. Currently we are on v14.12 - https://www.waves.com/downloads/release-notes#v14 , "All Waves plugins are updated to v14.12.x".

The same document tells us when v14 was updated to AAX ARM native - Dec 27th 2022, though the wording is a little confusing:

Quote:
New Update: Native Apple Silicon-ready Waveshells for Pro Tools are now available.
Waveshell AAX 14.0 (14.0.155.156)
Waveshell AAX 14.1 (14.1.204.262)
Waveshell AAX 14.2 (14.2.140.262)
Waveshell AAX 14.6 (14.6.60.230)
Waveshell AAX 14.7 (14.7.95.279)
Waveshell AAX 14.8 (14.8.73.262)
I've no idea what Waves does under the hood here, but it makes is sound like it alters all the existing v14 Waveshells as well as adding at least one new one.

Perhaps though it does give us the answer - Waves became ARM native on v14.8.

What I'd still quite like confirmation of is if someone's WUP expired with their v14 plugins on 14.1, whether or not they get a "free" update to 14.8. I've checked by own "Get Latest Version" on the Waves website but don't have any plugins in this category, would be helpful if someone else can check either there or in Waves Central (which, for now, I'm still staying clear from).
