Ya, I do think devs will see, via the lack of sales, that users aren't willing to pay (much) for multichannel versions.

I'm not referring to presets, I'm referring to existing instances of Q3. To migrate settings from Q3 to Q4 the mucking about is required. But as I suggested it's rather simple.

So Q4 won't automatically open Q3 instances as we'd hoped, but it's not terribly difficult to move Q3 settings to Q4 plugins.

In Q3, save the settings to a location, then drag the file it creates...

And the collision indicator is an amazing tool for highlighting problem frequencies within the mix. It shows which tracks may be colliding with other tracks and those specific frequencies glow red....

I've not gone deep into the all instance view but what I did see was slick. You can view and edit the basic parameters of many tracks in one single screen. A helpful new feature to be sure.

I had the same thought today. When will someone make them an offer they can't refuse. FF is one of the best and an acquisition would almost certainly change that.

What I was hoping for was the ability to open older versions of ProQ with *only* ProQ4. It's technically possible to ONLY have ProQ4 installed in your plugin folder and when ProTools sees an instance...
