This literal definition of this Mac OS error is "Software lock on file; Not a subscriber [permissions error on file open]".

Do a Get Info on DAE, and verify that it is unlocked or check the drive...

Have your MIDI track up
Bring up a AUX track
Select I/O/other/SCII/#1/1-2
Turn the AUX track up
Make sure the SCII plug-in is in the DAE folder.

When you install the v4.3.1 software make sure you've selected the AMIII install from the CDROM. It sounds like you've installed software for a TDM system.

DAE error -9073 or "disk to slow" prompt usually indicates there's an issue with your hard drives though it could be something else as simple as a high playback buffer size or something...

There are many ways to set up the ADAT bridge but if the MTP-AV is master then you would take 256x out of your MTP-AV to your 888/24 onto your ADAT bridge.
