yeah that's ultra wide scsi. i still have external drives, tape backup, cd rom burners for that stuff. In fact, i still have a tdm system just sitting around.

new version of falcon crushing pro tools

running the latest falcon now in the latest pro tools. it's useless. I have 3 sounds running in falcon and it crashes pro tools. I have a 12 core 3.33 with 64 meg ram. buffer is as large as it can...

UVI Falcon 2.5 doesn't show up

I downloaded and installed falcon 2.5 but all i get still is 2.0.
Also i have no way of extracting the presets for 2.5.

other way around. Synchro Arts needs to learn to write plugins that work well in Pro Tools. Their stuff is so complicated vs Melodyne. I tried using the new Revoice Pro plugin and it's just sooo many...

So, like many, I bought a larger screen. in this case a 43 ich sony tv. Native is 3840x2160 which leaves everything too small for me. So I experimented and fond that 3200x1800 is a workable size BUT...

every day when i start a session i do a save as with that day's date. The theory being at most I'll lose one day's work. Try that and see if it helps.

Can not complete request due to empty slot error?

NEVER saw this before in my life. All of a sudden, on only ONE session I have, the session won't launch and I get this error. 'Can not complete request because of empty slot while translating...

yes thank you, this is a workaround, similar to what i've done. I'm surprised it can't be stored as some kind of meta data, not that I know the first thing about writing code.
