I'd go with RME were it not for the crazy hoops you have to jump through for punch ins with a non avid...

Not all of your audio files are 'used' in a session I don't think.
I have 32 GB of RAM and I set my cache to 8 GB. I would at least try it at 8 or higher!

DT Stck sure sounds like a flash drive, which I don't think you'll e able to bounce to.


Select an internal drive instead.

I was replying to the OP.
He's using an aux track as his master. ALL tracks are going here so no delay compensation is needed ON THAT TRACK, just as it's not needed on a 'real' master track.

You don't have to worry. In fact, if red bugs you, right click and disable delay compensation.
