Re: Experiences with Fantom Green Drives?

Do you have a express card slot on your MBP if you do you ought to think about getting a SATA card and forget FW. If your wife is doing video it has higher I/O requirements than audio so be better...

Re: Composing w/ and w/o Pro Tools, etc

It is a tool and everyone uses tools differently. Not all composers work at an instrument some sketch in their head or on paper an entire piece then use an instrument to hear and tweak. Others say...

Re: Mbox Goodbye

It's a good thing for PT's future by developers not having to support multiple CPU's, old code and hardware. That opens up time to focus on current issues and more time for QA with a smaller test...

Re: Beta Testers. Another +ve public move.

Public betas for the most part are a waste of time and money, at best they make a few user feel involved. It takes more than even being a power user of a product to be a good beta tester. It...

Re: Film Sound Designers, How is PT8?

You'd probably get more response if you posted it in the Post and Surround area of the DUC.

Why are you even interesting in jumping to SL if you have stable systems. Production environments...
