Should I have the pro tools program on my system drive or should I have it on my second drive and if so How do you install or move the pro tools from my system drive to my dedicated drive?

How do you seperate tracks that have already been recorded on to a different drive. I've gone to track allocation in set up and changed them but it seems to only work with tracks you haven't recorded...

What's the difference between compacting an audio file and clearing unused regions? The reason I ask is because Iv'e done both on a session but when I go into my audio files folder I see audio files...
