Are you using mbox? try a pc-card with usb, it saved me from all -6086 errors with those plugins on my hp laptop

Hi all!
Problem solved!!
I bought a cheap usb-card (with VIA chipset) put my Mbox in one of its ports and the plugin-problems dissapeared.

I recommend anyone with Hp laptops having problems...

Problem solved! I tried the laptop with my 002r today and the plugins worked with that setup.
It seems that the graphics share the same IRQ as the usb on this machine, I think thats the problem and...

"hardware control" didn't solve the problem

The cpu-meter in PT goes crazy as soon as I open up any of the "new" digi-plugins, it's almost as if it is related to the graphics... the meter goes...

And yet they say that this laptop is qualified just a few lines down??? It is only these two plugins that's been causing trouble so far, pro tools runs just fine otherwise.
