The SSL native plugins will lock my session up on my Mac Studio Ultra, OS 12.3, and 2021.12 HDX. Everything else seems fine as of now. Just an FYI.

Not sure, but to be safe I’d go with the TB3 chassis. Mine works well.

I am also wondering if it’s a plugin or two that is causing your main issues. I haven’t run anything super crazy, just some of my old favorite sessions, but my studio ultra and HDX system is working...

Pretty sure there are some issues with the cpu meter in protools, always have been, specifically more so on the Studios.

Just loaded up a new Mac Studio Ultra, Monterey 12.3, with protools HDX, seems to be working well so far in my tests!
