Re: New Final Cut Pro X! Total redesign!

I haven't posted in here in a long time. I thought this deserved an honest answer.

It depends on where you work and what kind of people/productions you are working with. I hate to be so vague...

Re: Options to omf export when stuck with FinalCut

Re: USB 3 will crush eSata and Firewire800

hmm what do I think of the new glorious standard coming our way?

A couple of years ago Intel launched an ad that solely consists of Ahjay Bott, a claimed 'inventor' of USB, walking through a room...

Re: Mach Five 2.02 and Pro Tools

I agree MOTU could do better by M5 users. I was VERY ticked off about the two year wait on the upgrade. I also sympathize with those who have such a huge investment of time and money in their M5...

Re: Pro Tools LE to HD upgrade special: Open discussion

Dear Digi,

I have a few LE systems I'd love to upgrade. While the slow economy is one of the leading factors for you to make the offer, it is also the leading reason why I'll have to quietly...

Re: Digi please don't get distracted with whiners

Hate to get OT a bit here but...

Those of you trying to use the "nobody forced you to upgrade" argument are assuming everybody else is in the same scenario as you. New purchasers of Mac's and Pro...

Re: MAC G5 dual 2.7 leaky water cooled processor issue

Oh yeah, and I very rarely put mine to sleep either. These things really behave badly after sleep and often have trouble waking up. I'll open Sys Prefs and 'test' a screen saver if need be (never...

Re: Red Cam and Audio Fun!

FCP does not export an OMF which retains the metadata for source timecode. A BIG  on Apple's part in my opinion. IF your editor uses XML Pro, they can export the FCP timeline to a ProTools...
