Under PT go into hardware setup, then select your 888, go to options or more and put all the i/o's to digital...........its been awhile but I think this what you are looking for!

I also recommend LaCie, Lite-On, LG Electronics or Samsung
Rip(extract) speeds are good, big cache (true burn speeds), throughput(s) are excellent on all!!! Not too bash Sony but they die too often...
