MP3 ID Tag encoding for MediaPlayer

I am using Digisdesign's Mp3 option to encode audio clips. WinAmp sees all the tagged info when I encode using V1.1, but Windows MediaPlayer does not. Is there an incompatibility here?

I too have A g3 woth OS 8.6 and have had no problem using Acid with Softwindows, exporting each track as a .wav file and then convert and importing into Protools.
