You should look for it in the local library; not your user library or the system's. The one that shows under Macintosh HD. If it's not there, that's probably why PT can't see Reason.

I've never ran into such an issue. CCC shows me all the hidden files and folders. The disk image approach takes longer, since you have to restore it to a different volume, but should nonetheles work...
