I could be that PT has not yet finished completing the waveform calculations it needs to create on a virgin 7.4 session open. This will hog the CPU for a while but should settle down very quickly.

No, really, as Kirby said, the manual clearly states that you should be able to get 2048 buffer size at 48k. It has always been possible to get 2048 at 96k but never before at 48k.

Hi, I had the same conundrum... whilst you could use the same activation code on both machines, strictly you own two ProTools systems and should upgrade both.
It is not necessary to upgrade to MPT2...

Most likely "that" will come with 7.4 in the box.
Since if you buy 7.4 at the moment you get a free v8 upgrade, I should thing you will too. But you'll still have to get v8 discs separately.

Hi, I've been able to get LE to sync to the Venue time code successfully which was quite easy - just hook up the midi cable and put PT in online mode and start MTC on the venue with some record...
