Re: EWQL + Kompakt for me...?

Thanks smlworld,

I looked into Kontakt (v2), which is ~$375... Not toooo bad.

But it also says it required 10.4

That's going to cause a great chain reaction to upgrade a bunch of plugs that...

Hey thanks for the responses... Hey Tom, I'm the guy that emailed you.

That's a good question NuBus. DFD seems like a strong idea for making that all work properly.

I own 7, but don't want...

Re: EWQL + Kompakt for me...?

Hey,

Thanks for the input. Yes, I was hoping the smaller bit-size would help with performance.

As far as your comment on RAM, I was under the impression that Panther and PT6 it can only take...

EWQL + Kompakt for me...?

Hey all,

I've been looking at the EastWest Silver library as a way to have some entry-level film composition options.

Re: OS Updgrading Best Practices...

Thanks. Yeah - what is that about? I think it must have to do with the internet though. I have a couple of computers lying about and my music one is not connected to the internet, and it is the...

Re: OS Updgrading Best Practices...

Thanks for the response.

I honestly couldn't remember if I'd have to reinstall applications etc.

I suppose it may defeat the purpose of starting with a clean, stable system, but, was there a...

Re: delay compensation during recording?

There is an option in the i/o dialog that can be checked on/off (Input/Output).

Works great and I keep ADC on all the time.

That was one of the first things I tested when I got HD, and when it...

Re: Bomb Factory any good?

BF stuff has occassional uses, but I think the initial enthusiasm was a result of people listening with their eyes.

Re: IS PT 7 SLOWER THAN 6? I HAVE 2 GO BACK TO 6.9.2.

I'll admit that I like to hang back with new versions etc (currently running 6.9 with 10.3.9 on a dual 1gig G4 and HD4).
