I uninstalled and reverted back to 8.0 and everything seems to be working fine. If it comes back I'll try the new HD.

Ok, If I drop the money on this HD should I bet getting one for the OS and one for my .wavs or do I only need one?

Firewire 1814 w/ M-Powered. I don't think it's my drives. I'd more than likely be getting some DAE errors or something along those lines, no?

I've been running other apps through my Firewire 1814 and they work fine. This is only happening with Protools.

I feel like I'm in a cell talking to myself. Can I get a little assistance here?

Would the fact that my HDDs are 5400 rpms cause this? I just realized they weren't 7200. That's annoying......

I'm having an issue w/ playing back sessions in PT 8.0.3. The .wav I record will play fine for a short while, but then will drastically start ping ponging left to right almost doubling itself.

PT8 wants me to uninstall before upgrade?

I have 7.4 and was going to upgrade, but I'm being asked to uninstall Pro-tools first? If it's an upgrade why would I be required to uninstall?
