it's making a mess with other VI and stuff I use.
I've dumped all the plugs AAX, AU, VST.
Tossed folders in Apps and Docs.
Yet it still comes up with expired license, blah, blah, blah.

yes, use to cut and paste 2" tape in the 70s.
We called it window paneing.
I'm just looking to temp fix so the drummer has a ref.
But he will be relaying.

do I beat map the drums to themselves and then beat map that to the live track? Or beat map the live tracks as well?

I got the 1st 8 bars with BD, but it's so out, as basically a first rehearsal, that it'll take more time to BD, than a redo by the drummer against the new bass track.

is there a way within PT to resync the drum track of a session with the bass?
Have a demo that was a one time record, but the drums and bass weren't tight.
Cut a new bass to the guitars and...

midi periphs not seeing LaunchPad

it was working last week on my mini, but not working on 2019 MBP.
Midi input devices sees it and is checked. The driver shows up.
MIDI thru is checked.

But the only available devices in the MIDI...

maybe I'm missing something, but when I punch the midi, I get previous rec'd after the punch.
In other words I'm playing with mistakes.
Perhaps my config is wrong?

though the mono input assigns are available, that ain't it.
Need stereo audio tracks and assign to the strip input as below.

I added 3 mono audio tracks and used the multi-out of GC to assign to them.
I see it in GC, but don't hear audio.
The 3 audio tracks are in input.

It seems that GC is only capable of Main out....

GrooveCell suggestions

trying GC as when I passed a session to a drummer with Structure Free 1.5, it doesn't work the same for him as me. The VK plays multiple samples at once in his PT (same version 2023.6).
