OK another question. My eleven rack was unfortunately fried by an electrical storm, so I have learnt the hard way that I need to use a surge protector. If I was to buy one of the eleven racks...

Mine had the same issue recently and I put it in for service, the word is that it may have been fried by a power surge (i didnt have a surge protector). I'm waiting to see whether its worth the cost...

did you change the 11R input to re-amp, the manual is not very clear about this, also you may wish to set 'auto input monitoring' in pro tools

hit the edit button, scroll to the amp and check your amp out volume (reduce as necessary).
scroll to end and check the level meters at main outputs & rig outputs (whats the difference -- not sure...

What would be cool imo, is an editor that also lets us go further under the hood, eg bias settings, tone stack, valve models etc..
Sure one of the appeals of the 11R is thats it easy to get good...

I just wanted to get the sound of my amp, and mic'ing cabinets is a p.i.t.a. But you may be right in that it doesnt really sound much better or worse than the 11R, I'm on the fence as to which is...

I've been reamping via my tube amp and getting some hum. Its not loud enough to be noticeable when there are notes playing but its quite noticeable between the notes.
