Re: 6.7cs5 Still a bug with \"Save Session Copy In\"

Thanks for the suggestion Jim, but that's not what's going on. These are "missing" audio files, not missing fades. No matter what they come up missing and the regions in the session are offline.

Re: 6.7cs5 Still a bug with \"Save Session Copy In\"

Hey Dave,

Thanks for the reply. Actually, they did fix that issue. This is a new problem. The session is not empty, but audio is reported to be missing, even though it does get copied into the new...

Re: 6.7cs5 Still a bug with \"Save Session Copy In\"

DIGI and all,

I can't believe that no one else is experiencing this. When using "Save Session Copy In" and choosing to not copy fades, audio files come up missing when opening the copy. I know...

Re:6.7cs3 Still a bug with \"Save Session Copy In\"

So Digi,

I take it you haven't recreated this bug yet. Am I to assume that this problem is being caused by something other than a bug? Like I said in my original post, I tested this several times....

Re:6.7cs3 Still a bug with \"Save Session Copy In\"

Digi,

I am still having an issue, albeit a new one, with "Save Session Copy In" and choosing to not copy fades. Now, all the regions show up in the newly copied session, but audio comes up missing...

Session Setup Pull Up/Down question

I'm working on sessions that requires a 1% audio pull down in the setup. Everytime I restart PT (LE on mBox) I have to reset the pull down. The Session Set Up doesn't remember. Isn't this something...

Re: Save Session Copy In removes files from session!!!

I just found out that I can get the originals from a Retrospect backup made a couple of days ago. Thanks for your concern/sympathy.

Re: Save Session Copy In removes files from session!!!

Thanks, me too.

I'm also imagining that all the original fades are lost and would have to be manually reproduced.

Re: Save Session Copy In removes files from session!!!

Unfortunately, I do not have a backup from before this. I may be able to retrieve the original sessions from an automatic network backup - that's my next step.

I havent tried spotting the audio...

Re: Save Session Copy In removes files from session!!!

This is true for all sessions. I've tried this with about ten completely different sessions - same result for all.

Digi,

PT 6.7cs1
Control 24

I no longer have the original sessions - I usually delete after the copy if finished. The original sessions opened fine before and...

Re: Save Session Copy In removes files from session!!!

Okay, found the specific bug! I always choose to not copy fades when I backup sessions - waste of space, always better to let Pro Tools recreate fades anyway - right?.
Well, session copy is fine...

Re: Save Session Copy In removes files from session!!!

No offense, but of course I did. This is something I do many times a week on a regular basis for the last 5 years. Even if I didn't choose to copy "All Audio Files" at the bottom section, all my edit...

Save Session Copy In removes files from session!!!

I just updated to 6.7 and found what I believe to be a MAJOR bug. Archived some sessions as I always do by using "Save Session Copy In" to a backup folder on the same drive. I usually don't even...

Re: Suddenly, 6.2.3 \"Unexpectedly Quit\"s quite a lot

Thanks for all the replies! I've been so busy lately, I haven't checked back in a while. As far as plug-ins go, all have been updated to the very latest and plug-in validator verifies that. I don't...

Suddenly, 6.2.3 \"Unexpectedly Quit\"s quite a lot

I was very happily running 6.2.2 on my G4 Dual 1.25 (2GigsRAM) for some time before the latest update without ANY problems. Crashes and "Unexpectedly Quit"s seemed like ancient history. It was rock...

Re: A possible "fix" for a MIDI problem in OS X

Thank you for the response. I should have thought about trashing prefs to fix the HUI issue, but since PT was working fine, it just didn't occur to me.

Much appreciated!

I will give this a try...

Quicktime 6.2 Update

Digi,

Any problems with going ahead and updating Quicktime to 6.2 as far as PT6.01 goes?

I generally like to run OS X updates as they become available, but don't want to take any unecessary...
