How did you have a 5.1 output path before you "upgraded" to Studio? Pro Tools Standard (pre-Studio) didn't have 5.1.

Studio will not work with HD Native. You need Ultimate software, which could be a Pro Tools Ultimate perpetual license or a Pro Tools Flex subscription.

I already manage about 12 Ultimate systems. It would be too much to get everybody switched over to a new workflow in the short term. But it's definitely on the radar for the long term.

Very often multiple spots in a campaign, multiple versions, cutdown, new picture cuts that need to be conformed and reference the previous versions...all the same reasons to use multiple video clips...

If you are able to QC the used unit before buying, make sure the faders are ok. I've had a lot of faders on older Artist Mixes get really scratchy/sticky and write stuttery automation.
