Auto Tune resets...why?

Ive seen this happen alot lately, someone brings a session from another studio and the AT settings dont get transfered. Dont know why, anybody know how to revert to the saved settings?

No, ive never replaced the PSU.. are these prone to failure? Is there a test that i can perform to verify if PSU is operating correctly?

fader pack motors... crazy!

Hi,

I have a Procontrol with 3 fader packs, recently, one of the FP's motors when powered up would just stick to the bottom, the motors sound as if they are grinding. This fader pack, had problems...

I have the same thing happen to me when clocking external @ sample rates higher than 44.1.. I have a few 96k sessions, and i have to set Core Audio to clock internal before opening protools. Once PT...

I own the Massey Limiter and Comp.. Both are must haves.. Limiter on Master Buss is great for final mixes.. I use AC 2 using the JAPAN setting at 30ips and it sounds like our 2 inch 24 trk!

my workaround has been to change Core Audio before opening PT to internal sync, then PT opens just fine..

Regarless, i think that no matter what Sampling Rate is used on the session, PT should...

well most my sessions are 44, but this one in particular is 96k, im sure of it because i wanted to test the sound quality at 96k..

The URS Neve emulations are really good. EQ's and Comp's are extremly musical and smooth.. My choice is still MCDSP, CB4 has emulations of a bunch of classic comps..
