Re: presonus digimax + 002 input level

Yeah, it's the LT. Funny thing is I've been using this combination for a while, but I just started to notice that it was distorting. I've tried it at +4 and -10 and still run into the same issue. ...

presonus digimax + 002 input level

OK. So as of right now I am using two presonus digimaxes. One goes through the optical input and the other goes through the analog inputs 1 - 8 in the back of the 002. What I've noticed is that I...

dissapearing transport

I've had a couple of instances of this. My transport will dissapear, and show/hide transport will not bring it back. It's almost like it's gone off screen, but I can't find it. Is there a key...

Re: Telepc = & other forum members I am now funcit

If you're worried about being secure with out sp2, just browse the web with mozilla or firefox and be careful what you download. I've be doing that for almost a year and have not had one virus.

Re: Performance Problems We Should Not Be Having

I've been having this problem for months now, and I've tried every fix, and optimized my system in everyway. I also suspect this is a software problem. Try opening the task manager and a digi...

pb 1.5

I have a dell right now, but I want to make the switch. How will the 1.5 PB perform with say 20 or so tracks, a couple of waves c4's, 4 or 5 digi compressors, a dverb and a rverb, a waves eq or 2? ...

Re: H/W Buffer Size Error HELP!!!!

Yea, I'm pretty sure I have almost the exact same set up as you. I also tried Speedswitch, which i guess allows the dell to run at 3.06 instead of 1.6, which is due to something that is written into...

Re: Note about H/W Buffer errors, could save your

Yup. Tried that too. I'm pretty sure I've exhausted ever possibility. I don't think it's a hardware issue, I think it's a software issue, and all of theses hardware fixes are only a temporary fix....

Re: Note about H/W Buffer errors, could save your

It's a SIIG. Nothing is plugged into it besides my drive. The 002 is plugged into the firewire port built into the laptop. I honestly think this is a bug in pro tools with windows.

Re: Note about H/W Buffer errors, could save your

So I did performed all of the fixes that have been listed on this board and elsewhere and I'm still having the same problem. I even did a format and reinstall of windows to see if I could isolate...

Re: H/W Buffer Size Error HELP!!!!

Add me to that list. I have the dell 5150. It worked fine for a while and now... I think the problem is some sort of issue with Windows+protool+dell hardware. I ran a dell desktop for 3 years and...

I have the same problem.

Dell 5150
3.06 gHz

If I'm repeating what's been said in other threads, forgive me.

I think I'm about ready to make the switch. Currently I have a dell 5150, and have been having nothing but trouble with pro tools...
