Thanks. However, while good advise this is not addressing the issue. Pro Tools is crashing as the app that starts is changing its setting to the audio interface... This is not something that happens...

Thanks for the advice but as you say, it's not really possible to run apps on different sample rates, however, the problem is that PT crashes when another app is changing to the set rate as it's...

I have the same issue. Done all the usual like trash prefs, reinstalled, removed 3rdparty plugs... but it's still there. Turning off the network doesn't seem to make any difference. It gets better...

Crash deletes open recent last entry

Why does Pro Tools delete the last entry in the open recent menu after a crash?
It's the only software where I've seen this happened so it seems like a specific function.

You probably don't, and you're right - and I have. There's also already a pre-made soft keys page. I just like to have a dedicated window that's accessible from the top menu.

It was never a question of whether they were like for like. They are similar enough for it to not be that much of a difference, and certainly not throw up error messages on a session that played...

It's set to 5GB, and yes, it goes green but only for a few percentages.



Fair dues - PT shows the buffer under running warning i.e. remove plugins, increase the buffer. But, this is the same...

My fave way of mixing drums, bv and such, as you can nest groups and control both the VCAs and the faders individual e.g. drumgrp, ohgrp, rackgrp etc
