That's elegant.
A good plugin choice is Mod Delay III mono/stereo. Set Left & Right MIX to DRY and Invert the polarity on one of the Input Ø buttons.

ProTools doesn't use a global setting for pitch. You need to adjust each plugin/instrument to A=442 which is 8 cents higher than 440.
