Forced iLok update?

I just upgraded my Pro Tools to version 2018.1. The first time I ran it, a strange window came up that I'd never seen before with a 20-sec countdown saying that my iLok firmware needed to be updated....

OK, just tried updating to 8.0.4cs2, but the problem still persists.

Have tried using '1 processor' instead of 2. Have tried raising and lowering H/W Buffer size. Have done the same with CPU usage...
