I have the 002 desk and you can set the digital input to SPDIF or ADAT I presume the same applies to the 002 rack so it may be that it is set-up wrong.

As said SPDIF is an unbalanced .5v digital...

I find that PPMulator is OK on my system, it sometimes corrupts its display but if you mouse click over the window it re-sets.

Have you asked them what they require or for a tech spec sheet?

A peak of -10dbfs is OK for mainstream broadcast but if it is a web TV channel they may want it a bit hotter.

It's about 15 years since I experienced a locked off picture, I did five years at The Bill for ITV and the process was to dub the show with the director and then the production team (secretaries)...
