Hi, yeah, stacks of memory. that's not a problem.

It's not EXACTLY 20 minutes of work that goes missing, just roughly.

Usually I just move a piece of audio into place, be it a sound effect of a piece of voiceover, then select the plug in and hit "process".

It's a simple as that...............

Hi, McDsp has never caused a crash for me.

This weird crash happens whether there is a fade there or not.

It happens on all different types of plugs. Especially the normal digi ones....

Yeah, we keep the systems pretty clean.

We Trash the prefs often.
We defrag our drives often and run norton's disk doctor over them.
We also rebuild the desktop often and zap the p-ram.

You know how when you import the Quicktime movie, it makes a new track which draws the actual movie frames...
