I use the 002r, i did the midi in/out from the asr to the 002 but when i hit the record on the 002 the asr wont play... I do full production with protools now but i have old stuff on the asr i want...

Does anybody use an asr 10 keyboard synched through midi to protools(master/slave)...? Is so, please help me synch it. Tried everything.

If you want to convert it through Protools you have to buy the MP3 converter for it, it's only $20. Or you can get a stand alone MP3 converter and do it that way. It's easier to just get the Protools...

Does the Apogee D/A/D converter really make that much difference? I hear a lot of people talking about the sound quality compared to other Pre's. Is is true?

which furman should I get?

I know lightpiping to another interface will give you 16 I/O's but the ohter 2 I/O's won't be analog because there are no more left, so they must be the 2 spdif connections...by the way I have that...

I have a lot of instruments to record into protools sometimes I exceed 16 I/O's, just want to be able to do it all at once...Now the 18 I/O's you mentioned is that spidf for the 2 extras? And how...
