I wouldn't say that 6.1.1 solved the 1g issue as the only issue I was having was the BTD. Rail suggested using what XP recommended and that solved my BTD issue.

ditto to teleplayer, just the way I set it up although when my gtrist sends me his mbox pts I get his generic IO settings vs what I like to use.

I am AMD and no issues. I did have at first but upping my virt mem solved it. Looks like you are using one HD for sys and recording? Maybe it can't keep up? There is a thread out there that goes...

Whoa, had to uninstall free inspector demo!

AFter loading the demo, upon opening PTLE6.1.1, I received a -2804 error!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Uninstalling the demo was the fix to the -2804. Not sure...

Rail pretty much answered why you should. I had problems, but as usual, it was related to me not 6.1.1, well sorta not 6.1.1 I had to uninstall D-fx or fi then it cleared up the PTLE not loading...

Phil listed many moons ago that the firewire on the deluxe mobo you have is crap, doesn't work, blah blah. You need to get a SIIG or one of the other approved firewire cards. I got lucky...

If you have a gig of ram, make sure the virtual mem is set at the digi recommendation. What firewire card are you using? Any IRQ conflicts?

Ditto on pulling my hair out on D-fx and D-fi with 6.1.1.

I followed the same step above and went to clean uninstall of 5.3.2 to clean install of 6.1 then 6.1.1.

Digi needs to put this thread...
