Yes, Pro Tools FREE!

I still have a 450 MHz Cube that can boot into either OS9 or OSX. I use the OS9 partition to open sessions created in Pro Tools FREE in order to see the parameters of plugins...

Unable to select an edit mode

When using Pro Tools 10 to open sessions created in Pro Tools FREE, sometimes I am unable to select an edit mode. Pro Tools is functioning in Slip mode even though the SLIP button is not lit up.

I'm using PT 10.3.4 and the naming of the clips works as I describe, as shown in the attached graphics files.

It seems that you are recording before the singer knows the part she is to sing. That is guaranteed to fail. She must learn her part and be able to perform it from memory before she records it.

I see in the Compressor manual that the default setting for Compression Preset is Film Standard Compression, which would explain the volume drops.

Is the dialnorm value set in Final Cut Pro? I've looked through the manuals and I find no mention of it although I do find information about AC3 format.

Minister is right! Disabling the dynamic range compression does the trick. The DVD now sounds great when played on my computers.

I note that I heard a drop in "I Want to Tell You" just as the bass...
