i get that problem with my mbox all the time. the windows support is horrible on most studio equiptment i hear anyways. what i end up doing is disconnecting my mbox and reconnecting it and it works...

remove trial plugins

so digi throws in a bunch of teasers like the OMF support and their DV kit. after the trial is up how do you remove these trials from asking you to either quit or authorize every damn time you open...

I Recommend prior to doing the touchscreen i would look into the TranzPort by Frontier Design. This is a Wireless DAW Controller designed EXACTLY FOR YOUR NEEDS. it is only $200 in Sweetwaters 2005...
